Dans le cadre de ses fonctions, l**'Instructeur de simulation de vol I** sera responsable donner des formations essentiellement sur simulateur de vol ou autre appareil de formation, mais également, au besoin, au sol, conformément aux exigences des clients et des exigences réglementaires.

Les responsabilités comprendront mais ne seront pas limitées à:

- Transmettre les instructions avant et après vol sur simulateur de façon détaillée et professionnelle et conformément aux normes de CAE.
- Réaliser chaque séance de simulation conformément aux procédures d’exploitation normalisées de CAE, du fabricant de l'aéronef et des clients.
- Fournir des instructions de simulation de vol pour l'émission de licences, de qualifications de type et de certificats.
- Remplir de façon convenable et détaillée les registres appropriés concernant la formation du client afin de garantir la compréhension du client et un transfert continu aux autres instructeurs.
- Recommander, au besoin, une formation de rattrapage pour un client qui n'a pas progressé tel qu’attendu au cours de la formation.
- Enregistrer l'utilisation du simulateur et les écarts à l'aide des procédures appropriées.
- Suivre la validité des qualifications de l'instructeur ou de l'instructrice afin de veiller à ce qu'il ou elle reste qualifié(e) pour dispenser la formation à tout moment conformément aux engagements contractuels.
- Agir à titre d'expert en la matière pour ce qui est de la création de curriculums et de didacticiels, en fonction des besoins.
- Accepter de suivre une formation concernant les responsabilités des examinateurs lorsque cela est requis par le responsable de la formation.
- Agir à titre de surveillant lors de la conduite de l'examen.

**Qualifications**:

- Qualification sur ATR-42 (TC)
- Baccalauréat dans un domaine en lien avec le poste ou une expérience équivalente.
- De 2 à 5 ans d'expérience pertinente au minimum.
- Réussite de tous les examens écrits pour l'obtention de la licence de pilote de ligne.
- Expérience minimum requise par l'autorité de réglementation délivrant la qualification d'instructeur.
- Détenir une qualification d'instructeur en vigueur ou une qualification délivrée par une autorité de réglementation recommandée.
- Satisfaire aux exigences mínimales pertinentes en matière d'expérience et de qualification pour une qualification en tant qu'instructeur de simulation de vol.
- Détenir ou avoir détenu une licence de pilote professionnel.
- Une connaissance pratique de la réglementation pertinente en matière d'aviation.
- Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en relations interpersonnelles.
- Capacité à maintenir une approche fortement axée sur la clientèle dans les situations difficiles.
- Attention particulière portée à la qualité et volonté permanente d'améliorer les processus et la satisfaction de la clientèle.
- Capacité à se concentrer et à travailler dans un milieu très dynamique.
- Capacité à accepter le changement facilement et à s'y adapter.
- Maîtrise de l'anglais et French.

In this role, the **Simulator Flight Instructor I **will be responsible for the delivery of training primarily in a flight simulator or other training device, but also when required in ground school, in accordance with the appropriate regulatory and customer requirements.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Conduct pre and post flight simulator briefings in a thorough, professional manner and in accordance with CAE standards.
- Conduct each simulator session in accordance with the CAE, aircraft manufacturer or the customers’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Provide simulator flight instruction for the issue of licenses, type ratings and certificates.
- Complete the appropriate client training records accurately and comprehensively to ensure client understanding and a seamless handover to other instructors.
- Recommend, where necessary, remedial training for a client who is not meeting the required training progress.
- Record simulator usage and discrepancies using the appropriate procedures.
- Track the validity of instructional qualifications to ensure that he/she remains qualified to deliver training at all times in accordance with contractual commitments.
- Accept training for examiner responsibilities when required by the Head of Training.
- Act as invigilator when examination is conducted.

**Qualifications**:

- Qualification on ATR-42 (TC)
- Bachelor degree in job-related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Passes in all Airline Transport Pilots License written exams.
- Minimum experience required by the Regulatory Authority issuing instructor rating.
- Hold an existing instructor qualification or -rating issued by a Regulatory Authority desirable.
