**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assess each student’s current understanding of math, chemistry, and physics concepts, tailoring instruction to their individual learning needs and styles.
- Create engaging, interactive tutoring sessions that foster curiosity and a deep understanding of math, chemistry, and physics principles.
- Track student progress, maintain accurate records of attendance, and provide assessments of student understanding.
- Adapt teaching methods as needed to ensure student success and promote a growth mindset.
- Communicate effectively with students, providing constructive feedback and encouragement to keep them motivated and on track.

**Qualifications**:

- Very strong knowledge of high school-level math, chemistry, and physics concepts.
- Ability to explain complex ideas in a clear and intuitive manner, adapting instruction to meet the needs of each student.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate students' schedules.
- Independent and proactive, capable of making educational decisions that support student learning.

- Tutoring sessions are delivered both in person and via video conference, offering flexibility to meet the diverse needs of our students.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 10 per week

Additional pay:
