**About the role**
We’re looking for a Manager, IT Availability Management, to join our growing team
**What you'll do here**:
- Coach and inspire a multidisciplinary team with roles related to Major Incident Management, Problem Management, and IT Change Management.
- Collaborate with your counterparts in management on the implementation of Availability Management Strategy, the establishment of objectives and performance indicators, the definition of roadmaps and delivery of ITSM Operations to improve System Availability.
- Document and maintain KPIs.
- Inspire and promote collaboration.
- Anticipate and manage problems and take the necessary actions to resolve them, act proactively to remove obstacles.
- Promote and implement a culture of continuous improvement built on data driven decision-making.
- Lead recruitment, mentoring, one-on-one meetings, performance reviews and individual career and development planning.
- Provide leadership in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, with the ability to develop and coach your team to enable them to achieve their goals.
- Understand and translate business needs and opportunities into impactful strategies as well as promote the benefits of the experience to internal stakeholders and business partners.
**What you bring to the table**:
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
- Experience in managing IT professionals.
- Experience in the areas of IT Service Management processes and ITIL.
- Experience in a professional environment to promote work, deliver work, develop and inspire teams.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to be influential.
- Proven interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Bilingualism (French / English) -_ Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country._
- Organized and able to work well in a changing environment.
- Can lead teams of diverse experts who are on emergency standby availability.
