**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Greet patients, clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Answer and direct phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing inquiries and providing information as needed.
- Become proficient with our patient management software, Janeapp, to schedule and bill patients/clients and enter documents as needed into patient files (training provided)
- Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, patient/client payments and maintaining an organized reception area.
- Light cleaning duties required to maintain an organized and hygienic front entry and waiting room area
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, data entry, and document preparation to support office functions.
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution or filing or scanning.
- Maintain patient records in a health care office setting, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and communication within the office.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in computer skills and willing to learn a new patient management software
- Familiarity with health team/medical office procedures is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
