**What will you do as a DevOps Analyst?**

The DevOps Analyst will work closely with the IT team and clients of the team to determine the IT and DevOps needs of the company, provide guidance on best practices for implementation, and be actively involved in the deployment of your recommendations. This position requires direct participation in day-to-day operations such as planning, troubleshooting, implementing changes, migrations, and end-user support.

Working as part of our global IT team, you will report to the IT Infrastructure Manager at our Burnaby head office. The position is hybrid and work is expected to be performed onsite at LMI's HQ in Burnaby at least 3 days a week.
- Provide DevOps and security expertise on IT and client initiatives
- Author technical documentation including procedures and incident analysis
- Monitor systems to identify performance, automation opportunities and risks
- Identify, troubleshoot and solve issues that arise
- Proactively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide input on business continuity planning and updating disaster recovery playbooks.
- Track digital assets and manage their lifecycle
- Actively engage and communicate with the IT team and clients
- Provide input on the IT budget and dashboards
- Provide support and training to IT customers
- Uphold and enforce IT policies throughout the company
- Adhere to the LMI Employee Handbook and company policies
- Perform other duties as required

**What do you need to be successful?**
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent number of related diplomas and specialized courses
- 3 years minimum of relevant IT experience in a similar environment
- Working knowledge of development related suites such as Git, GitHub and TeamCity
- Familiar with fundamentals of enterprise networking
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and best practices.
- Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ubuntu Server
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong initiative and enthusiasm
- Attention to detail
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic, and ability to stay on top of a large number of priorities while under pressure to deliver
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Positive attitude and ability to provide and receive constructive criticism

Salary Range: $57,700 - $72,100 - $82,100

Expected Salary: Our typical hiring range will be +/- 10% of the midpoint listed above. Factors influencing this decision include qualifications and market conditions for the role.
