Maitre D

We are seeking an experienced Maître D to join our team at a steakhouse and seafood restaurant. The Maître D will be responsible for managing the front of house operations, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a smooth and efficient dining experience for all guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests as they arrive and ensure that they are seated in a timely manner
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to ensure maximum capacity
- Supervise and manage the front-of-house team, including servers and host/hostesses
- Train and mentor new staff members on restaurant policies and procedures
- Monitor the dining room to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Respond promptly to customer complaints and resolve any issues to their satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and restaurant standards
- Manage inventory of supplies, including linens, menus, and cleaning materials
- Assist with the preparation of schedules and payroll for front-of-house staff
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Maître D or in a similar role in a high-end restaurant setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and management abilities
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine selection and service
- Familiarity with POS systems and other restaurant technology
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or related field is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $72,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
