Under the general direction of the Department Manager and as a key member of the Cyber Security Office (CSO) leadership team,
you are responsible for providing leadership and direction to staff in alignment with Department and Business Unit goals and
objectives.

You will assist the Manager in maintaining the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of Manitoba Hydro information and technology
assets across the Enterprise by designing, implementing, monitoring, communicating, and enforcing overall Enterprise Technology
Security policies, processes, guidelines, controls, and industry best practices for all Manitoba Hydro technology assets and
environments.

You will also provide guidance and consulting assistance to all staff and management across all Business Units on overall Cyber
Security risk and maintain a strategic relationship within Digital & Technology BU and key stakeholders across Enterprise.

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to the Cyber Security Governance & Risk section.
- Provide Cyber Security consulting services to the Enterprise, including EMS/SCADA systems support and
- Telecommunications, to ensure consistency of Cyber Security practices across all systems and networks.- Responsible for translating business unit goals into specific strategic actions and measures within the section and taking
- remedial action necessary to ensure goals are achieved.- Plan for the short-term and assist with the long-term utilization of available resources (human, financial, and technology) to
- meet corporate plans and priorities in a systematic and economical manner as it pertains to Enterprise cyber security.- Support the development, implementation, communication, monitoring and maintenance of the Enterprise Technology

**_ Qualifications:_**
- Graduate in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering from a university of recognized standing, plus seven years' related

experience of which five years' experience must have been in Cyber Security, risk management, governance, and regulatory
requirements, including three years of supervisory experience, plus one-year additional training directly related to the position.
- Membership as a Professional Engineer with E.G.M.
- Certified (or willing to attain certification) as a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² within
- two years.- Other industry professional certifications such as CISM, CISA, SANS, etc. would also be an asset.
- Experience in working with and preferably leading a diverse, cross functional team.
- Strong background in cyber risk management.
- Knowledge of NERC Critical Information Protection (CIP) standards, programs and procedures.
