SIR Solutions is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team for a temporary 6-month role The clerk plays a key role in carrying out the day-to-day responsibilities of accounts payable.

**Overview of your day-to-day life**:

- Acquisition and processing of invoices;
- Assist with account reconciliation;
- Pay or receive payment from suppliers and customers;
- Payment processing;
- Filing and maintenance of supplier files;
- Communicate with other employees to obtain necessary approvals and with suppliers to resolve any questions or issues that arise;
- Collaborate with the rest of the team and be willing to help with other tasks.

**What we'd like you to have**:

- One (1) year of relevant or similar experience in the field of accounting which has enabled you to acquire knowledge and skills in accounts payable, a significant asset;
- College diploma in accounting (AEC or DEC) or equivalent certification, an important asset;

**Qualities and skills**:

- Bilingual written and oral, French and English;
- Good command of the Office suite (Excel);
- Experience with accounts payable systems;
- Demonstrate initiative and autonomy, work in a team;
- Basic knowledge of accounting, in particular the assignment of invoices by general ledger account number and department or cost center;
