Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef with **Lebanese cuisine experience** to join our team. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including food preparation, food service, and restaurant management. This is a leadership role that requires strong culinary skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.
**Duties**:
- Plan and execute menus in collaboration with the management team
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques and safety procedures
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
- Manage kitchen budgets and control costs
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and introduce new menu items to keep the menu fresh and exciting
**Skills**:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, including but not limited to cooking, baking, and grilling
- Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Proficient in restaurant management software and systems
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
