**DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES**:

- Support and maintain a healthy, happy work environment and positive company culture.
- Finishing Carpentry - experience and attention to detail with installing casing, baseboard, moldings, hanging doors, building and installing shelves, mantels, feature walls, etc.
- Rough Framing - experience and confidence with basement framing, structural beam installations, exterior windows and doors, etc.
- Completing project duties to meet milestones and completion dates, without sacrificing high quality.
- Working alone and alongside other trades to ensure client renovation projects move forward and exceed their expectations for quality.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and providing input to the in-house design team when necessary to optimize client project outcomes.
- Communicate with Project Manager and other internal team members.
- Attend regular weekly team meetings.
- Mentor Site Assistants and Apprentice Carpenters..
- Ensure projects are completed according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high quality standards.

**SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS**:

- At least 5 years of residential finishing carpentry experience.
- Journeyman Carpenter trade certificate.
- Are currently working as a journeyman carpenter understand the role and responsibilities.
- Knowledge and experience of residential renovations and/or new home construction.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to move at a quick pace while maintaining the highest quality.
- Must have your own tools in good working condition.
- Must have a reliable truck with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Must be able to lift at least 60 lbs on a regular basis.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Good communicator
- Ability to follow instructions as well as read and interpret blueprints - with the confidence to respectfully question when necessary.
- Exhibits confidence in all things carpentry with a high level of perfectionism.
- Customer service focused.
- Personable, fun, high energy while also focused and hardworking - you get the job done.
- You give maximum effort and are motivated to move at a quick pace without sacrificing quality.

**COMPENSATION**:

- Competitive compensation at $62,400-$83,200/year
- 2 weeks’ vacation per year
