**Job title**: Program Supervisor
Oak Hill Ranch is an accredited campus-based treatment facility with a designation in Intensive Treatment. With the support of Children and Family Services, family and other healthy support networks, we strive to create a therapeutic environment that assists in the young person’s growth and development. We offer services to youth between the ages of 9-16 years of age who present various behavioral and emotional challenges. Oak Hill Ranch is located ½ mile south of the town of Bon Accord (20 min. N of Edmonton).
**Schedule**:
- This position is full-time permanent with a salary range of $68,000.00-$75,000.00 per year. Supervisors work on a rotational schedule of 2-evening shifts (2:45pm-11pm), 2-day-shifts (6:45am-3pm) and 2 days off.
**Key Responsibilities**: *NOTE* This is not a comprehensive list of the job description, but an overall understanding of the position of a Program Supervisor.
- Consistently utilizes Oak Hill Ranch’s Policy and Procedure Manuel to guide decision making and action.
- Demonstrate and model Oak Hill’s philosophy and service framework.
- Establish and maintain relationships internally and externally with all young people, their families and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and facilitate house meetings regularly.
- Support program staff with interpersonal relationships and problem-solving with young people.
- Model and ensure crisis intervention model and philosophy of care are adhered to.
- Provide formal orientation of all new program staff.
- Provide formal supervision meetings regularly.
- Ensure program design maximizes efficiency and effectiveness in achieving program objectives.
- Ensure the program is in full compliance with contract expectations and accreditation standards.
**Qualifications and Professional Experience**:
- Diploma/Degree in Human Services, preference given to Child and Youth Care and Social Work disciplines.
- Minimum 4-5 years’ experience working with high-risk youth in out-of-home placements (minimum 6 months experience in a leadership position).
- Experience & knowledge in First Nations culture is an asset for all positions.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Standard 1st Aid (level C), ASIST Suicide Certificate(s) are an asset; however, courses are offered after commencement.
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof thereof as a condition of employment
