The Bone House is seeking a friendly part-time retail associate We are an eco-friendly, natural, holistic dog and cat store. We are a small and passionate team who care very deeply about natural solutions for pets and their owners, and we ensure to guide our customers to make the best decisions for their animal's well being. As our store continues to grow, we are looking to add a passionate and hardworking member to our pet-oriented team.

We are looking for our part-time retail associate to work approximately 12-18 hours per week, with weekday availability for the summer.

The qualifications required for this position are a passion for animals, an interest in learning about pet nutrition and care, customer service skills, an attention to detail, and an excellent, self-motivated work ethic.

Past work experience in a pet-related industry will be considered an asset, as well as experience in a keyholding position, social media skills, communication skills and any experience in customer service positions.

Some job duties include:

- Opening and closing the shop independently
- Operating the POS system to search for inventory, deal with customers and ring through saes
- Providing superb customer service, building relationships with customers and their dogs
- Posting on our social media pages
- Tracking inventory sold throughout your shift and restocking inventory
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, watering plants and other light cleaning duties, all as required
- Keeping merchandise displays tidy and well stocked
