**Your Opportunity**:
The primary responsibilities of this position include:

- Safely operate the transit tractors and shuttle trailers to ensure safe transportation of passengers as they load, ride, and unload to various parking lot locations
- Complete daily inspections of the transit tractors and shuttle trailers
- Provide direction to manage both automotive and pedestrian traffic to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow
- Greet and provide general information to guests and assist with questions or concerns as needed
- Assist with general maintenance, snow removal, and cleanup duties, as well as set-up, takedown, and operations for special events and functions
- Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals
- Other duties as assigned

**Your Qualifications**:

- Experience in the operation of farm tractors and wagons
- Experience with providing parking direction and parking lot operations is preferred
- Ability to direct both vehicle (including busses) and pedestrian traffic
- Demonstrated commitment to working safely
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and the ability to work both as a team member and independently
- Flexibility and the ability to assume a variety of tasks as required
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Able to travel to a site not serviced by public transportation
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time
- A valid Ontario Drivers Licence, minimum Class “G”, with a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract is required. _*Abstract completed by Conservation Halton_.
