Role Brief

Brassica is welcoming guests to enjoy farm-to-table Canadian Cuisine, with warm hospitality and unparalleled service on the Sunshine Coast. We have a carefully curated food menu that adheres to the seasons, along with a fine selection of local beers, wines and spirits from our neighbours. Experience in a restaurant setting of at least 1 year is most desirable, but training will also be provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for ensuring smooth, efficient and professional service to all guests.
- Ability to work in a team environment and a fast paced setting
- Meeting and greeting guests as well as taking food orders and effectively communicating to the kitchen
- Mixing and pouring cocktails, beer and wine
- Wine knowledge and bottle opening skills ideal
- Cleaning, bussing and re-setting tables as needed
- Working with the chef team to ensure menu knowledge prior to service
- Attends pre-service meetings daily.
- Adhere to and implement sanitation regulations and safety regulations as per Provincial Health and company standards.
- Reports to the Manager

**Requirements**:

- 1+ years of experience serving guests in a restaurant setting.
- Strong attention to detail. Strong work ethic and positive attitude is a must.
- Superior organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Experience with point of sale systems and handling cash a benefit
- Strong motivational and leadership skills.
