**Job Title: Move Specialist (Swamper)**

**About Us**:Bright Future Brands is a woman-owned, local moving company located in Richmond, BC. As part of our expanding family of companies, we own 5 small, highly-ranked moving companies across Vancouver and the Greater Vancouver Area. Our services include residential relocation and specialty moving. We operate a fleet of 16ft, 1-tonne moving trucks, providing our movers with a diverse and engaging workspace. At Bright Future Brands, we are proud to be an eco-friendly and sustainable moving service. We care about the planet, and our practices reflect our commitment to environmental responsibility. We optimize route planning to reduce driving time and emissions, minimize plastic waste, and recycle junk items whenever possible. Additionally, we plant 10 trees for every move to offset carbon emissions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture with precision.
- Perform packing services and maximize truck space for optimal efficiency.
- Wrap furniture securely to prevent damage during transport.
- Visualize and execute the movement of large items in challenging spaces.
- Move household items and boxes with care and attention to detail.
- Maintain clear and friendly communication with clients and the team.
- Reliable, dependable, and respectful.
- Excellent packing and truck-loading skills.
- Athletic and physically strong.
- Take direction from management and the Team Lead.
- Outgoing, friendly, and effective communication skills.
- Organize the trucks after each move.
- Clean the back of the truck and inside the cab at the end of each day.
- Assist the Team Lead in GPS navigation and other duties for a smooth day of moves.
- Demonstrate a respectful attitude and a willingness to learn and grow, taking constructive criticism on board.
- Show up reliably to all scheduled work shifts and receive a quarterly bonus for consistent attendance.
**Requirements**:
- Moving experience is ideal, or a strong motivation to learn.
- Reliable and dependable with a respectful attitude.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Athletic and physically strong.
- Ability to take direction and work well within a team.
- Outgoing, friendly, and effective communication skills.

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
