**POSITION: Full-Time Executive Assistant II**

**LOCATION: Camrose, AB**

BRSD is seeking an experienced, professional and personable Executive Assistant to join our team. Reporting to the Assistant Superintendent - HR, the Executive Assistant II will work as part of the HR Team to provide a full range of administrative services to directly support the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources, the Human Resources Department and BRSD’s Division Office. The individual we are seeking is highly skilled in all aspects of office administration, is stakeholder-focused, and is a team player. The role is well suited to someone who has strong organizational skills, great attention to detail, advanced technology skills, and experience working in a fast-paced environment. The position requires discretion and confidentiality.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Assistant Superintendent for all their areas of responsibility with a clear understanding and attention to confidentiality.
- Providing essential administrative and HR process support to the Human Resources Department as well as clerical support for some Early Learning and Inclusion Department functions.
- Learn and navigate the Division’s information system (PowerSchool/Atrieve) to generate employee files, job postings, onboarding documents, position assignments, etc.
- Draft, type, format, copy, distribute, file and retrieve correspondence, reports and documents of a routine or confidential nature on a regular basis for the Assistant Superintendent and the HR Department.
- Assist in the organization and preparation of various Division events, meetings, and training sessions.
- Provide confidential filing services for all records including documents for personnel filing digitally.
- Providing back-up reception services, with a commitment to public service, responding politely and professionally to various calls and enquiries from all stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Previous related working experience in an office environment preferably in an HR setting with a high level of confidentiality.
- Successful completion of a certificate or diploma in Office Administration or a related field from a recognized post-secondary institution is an asset.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an Administrative Assistant role supporting senior management.
- Experience working in an education based environment would be an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented and have a high level of accuracy regarding written communications.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, communication, computer skills and abilities and demonstrate a high level of professionalism in the workplace.
- Ability to take initiative in the workplace and be excited to take on new challenges as they arise.
- The ability to speak French would be considered an asset.
