Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Cutter to join our team. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, packaging, and labeling various types of meat products. Your expertise in food handling, meat cutting techniques, and food safety will ensure the highest quality products for our customers. Duties: - Cut, trim, and portion various cuts of meat according to customer specifications - Package and label meat products for display and sale - Maintain cleanliness and organization of cutting area and equipment - Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure product quality and prevent cross-contamination - Assist customers with their meat selection and provide excellent customer service - Receive and inspect incoming meat shipments for quality and freshness - Keep track of inventory levels and notify management when supplies need to be replenished Requirements: - Previous experience working in the food industry as a butcher or meat cutter - Knowledge of different cuts of meat and proper cutting techniques - Familiarity with kitchen equipment used in meat preparation - Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate portioning and packaging - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality - Excellent customer service skills to assist customers with their meat selection - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices If you have a passion for working with meat products, possess excellent cutting skills, and are committed to providing top-notch customer service, we would love to hear from you.
