**About The Role**

Reporting to the Meat and Seafood Manager, as **Meat Cutter**, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat, wrapping and packaging meat, and maintaining store displays.

**Type**: Full Time | Permanent

**Schedule**: Day and Afternoon Shifts | Between 7:30am to 6pm

**Hours per Week**: 40 hours

**Education**: Highschool (preferred)

**Your Impact**
- Greet customers and answer questions in a friendly manner.
- Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts and grinds of meat.
- Shape, lace, and tie roasts, meat, poultry, and seafood.
- Wrap and package meat for sale.
- Maintain the overall appearance of the department, including workstations and display cases.
- Ensure cases, displays, and tables are well-merchandised to showcase quality.

**About You**
- 2+ years of experience as a meat cutter or a comparable role (butcher shop, meat processing) is required.
- Previous experience in a grocery store meat department is preferred.
- A safe food handling certificate is preferred.
- Able to lift over 30lbs is required.
- Must be able to stand, lift, carry, and walk for extended periods of time.
- Available to work: days, afternoons, weekends, and select holidays.
