As a Procurement and Logistics agent, you will play a vital role in the SCM team in ABB E-Mobility in Montreal, Canada In this role you will provide assistance to the wider business by ensuring that all purchasing, stock management and logistic activities align with corporate policies and procedures and by providing relevant market information.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Purchasing materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule and terms, negotiating with main suppliers and periodically renewing price lists, terms and conditions
- Initiating purchase orders according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures
- Overseeing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues
- Identifying and qualifying new suppliers together with supplier quality and engineering specialists
- Develops business relationships with feeder factories and internal customers
- Proposes strategies to improve procedures of supply chain logistics
- Manage inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels
- Evaluates product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
- Managing annual POs with business partners
- Preparing shipping documents
- Work with carriers to coordinate shipments locally and abroad

**Your background**:

- 2-3 years of experience in Procurement and local/international shipping, working in electronics industry
- Demonstrated experience working with enterprise resource planning and standard operating procedures
- Knowledge of SAP
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with inventory management tools, forecasting strategies, utilizing ABC/XYZ methodology
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills
- Ability to write and speak in English and French
