**Who We Are**:
Squamish Nation consists of 23 villages and is comprised of descendants of the Coast Salish Aboriginal people who live in the present-day Greater Vancouver area, Gibson’s Landing, and Squamish River watershed. The Squamish Nation has occupied and governed the territory since beyond recorded history. The Squamish Nation's culture is rich and resilient. We continue to practice our customs and traditions, which are strongly interconnected with our traditional territory. Together with our lands, our customs and traditions are the foundations of who we are as Skwxwú7mesh.

As an organization, we provide support to the greater Squamish Nation Community through service. With 12 departments with individual areas of expertise, we ensure Squamish People have access to necessary programs and services.

**About The Opportunity**:
Working as an integral part of the Ta na wa Yúus ta Stitúyntsam̓ Rights and Title Department, this position reports directly to the Referral Manager, Rights and Title, this role will provide research and analytical support to the group with respect to proposals for projects/activities by government/industry within Squamish Nation Traditional Territory. The incumbent will be responsible for referral analysis in the Squamish’s Rights and Title Department, within the programs branch as well as handle meetings/negotiation support for the team. The incumbent will serve as a liaison and referral coordinator between the Squamish Nation and the City of Vancouver.

**Salary**: $ 76,499 - $ 85,634 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits program.
