Railcar Loader

**Job Description**:
**We are looking for a Rail Car Loader in a permanent position who is physically capable of performing specific tasks, is safety-focused, and can follow directions and procedures. You must be willing to switch roles wherever needed.**
**This position is expected to start on October 1, 2024, and is local to Calgary, AB, but everyone is encouraged to apply, especially those willing to relocate**
**What would you be doing?**
- Monitor the condition of all equipment within the unit and maintain and correct it. and/or reporting potential failures or malfunctions.
- Loads and unloads railway cars.
- Pull POs, scheduling Vendors.
- Cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipment.
- General facility maintenance.
- Transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Dig trenches, shovel snow, gravel, and other materials.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
- Help trades in various tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Does this sound like you?**
- 1+ years of Rail Car Loading Experience is considered an asset.
- Experience in Zoomboom or Skidsteer and TDG are preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of all facets of Operations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work well with Microsoft Office Applications.
- Experience participating in the HSSE programs.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Must have your own reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a keen willingness to learn.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
