**Job description**

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome guests to a friendly atmosphere and take care of their particular dining requests in a timely and accurate manner as per Applebee’s specifications
- Answer the phone and provide Restaurant and Dining information as well as placing to-go orders
- Assist the Hosts with the seating section plan and waitlist while seating guests accordingly
- Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests
- Assist the Hosts with bussing and cleaning tables
- Stock the necessary inventory each shift
- Complete assigned opening/closing duties
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
- All other duties assigned by Management

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year serving experience preferred; previous experience bartending is an asset
- Smart Serve Certification
- Must work well in a team environment and be outgoing and friendly
- Must work well under pressure and be able to multitask
- Need to be flexible to work day and night shifts during weekdays, weekends and holidays.
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check to the hotel’s satisfaction.
