We are looking for a motivated Program Support Worker to join our Case Management Research Program team

**POSITION**:

- **Program Support Worker, Maternity leave replacement from February to July with possibility of extension**

**DEPARTMENT**:

- Family and Settlement Services

**POSITION FUNCTION**:

- Under the supervision of the Manager, Settlement Case Management Research Program, the Program Support Worker is responsible for providing administrative and clerical program support for MOSAIC Case Management Research Program.

**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Collect, monitor, and compile client and/or student profile and intake information, day-to-day program statistics, and quantitative data as required, and input them into the appropriate databases in a timely manner.
- Provide administrative support for reports, client records, and forms. Maintain confidentiality in all matters related to client/student information.
- Prepare flyers, leaflets, and advertising for program as required.
- Verify accounting codes and process invoices related to program/departmental costs.
- Maintain the inventory and order office/class/program supplies.
- Organize photocopier codes, generate monthly photocopy billing reports, and forward to Finance & Administration. Provide simple photocopier trouble-shooting and maintenance.
- Maintain employee files regarding attendance, holidays, and sick time.
- Assist staff to plan special events for clients/students and act as a central contact for special events.
- Participate in partnership, departmental, all-staff, and relevant community meetings, in-service training, and other training. May help to facilitate.
- Other duties, as assigned by the manager.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School completion
- Strong working knowledge of standard office equipment, word processing software and internet use
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and privacy of client information
- Have the ability to speak, read and write in fluent English, a secondary language will be considered an asset
- Experience in dealing with administrative procedures
- Empathetic, respectful, and discrete; remains tactful and patient during stressful situations
- Highly organized and flexible
- Have strong cross-cultural support skills
- Have experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check
