**Job Overview**:
Proficient command and comprehension of the English language; in both reading and writing. Effective interpersonal skills. Flexible. Understanding of the requirements and processes associated to working with people living with emotional regulation disorders, dual diagnosis including medical and/or behaviour, clinical knowledge of diagnosis, knowledge of the justice system, community resources available to people with physical and cognitive disabilities, etc. Use of information systems technology for case management documentation and report writing.

The TL is responsible for managing the team, by providing on-site leadership and ensuring that the person(s) receiving supports are getting the required day to day services. This means that a TL must define schedules and daily activities to meet service expectations and is to lead through participation as a team member in the provision of day-to-day services. The TL supports all internal and external appointments with the individual in service.

**Skill Requirements**:

- Strong administrative and organization skills are required.
- Strong assessment skills and critical thinking skills are necessary. Must be able to lead/assist in the assessment, identification and be able to adequately address all potential risk for the person in service, staff member(s), community, and/or to the organization.
- Through a whole-person perspective (spirit, body, mind), advocate for, and provide oversight of services being provided.
- Use social story, logical thinking and leading by example to help with the development of positive behavior.
- Knowledge and understanding of the opportunities that are available to people with disabilities within the community and other socially structured environments, as well as when and how to access these opportunities.
- Ability to _Coach_ a diverse team of staff and people in service; this includes being aware/sensitive to differences in cultural practices, expectations and behaviours.

**Computer skills**:

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft operating system and/or Apple operating system.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 365 Full Suite.
- Case Management Software (MyCompass).
- Proficient use of Apple iPad and operating system.
