**CLINICAL CRISIS RESPONSE SUPERVISOR JOB SUMMARY**

The Clinical Crisis Response Supervisor will work closely with the Community Clinical Case Managers and Supervisors to observe, plan, implement and execute programs and activities that promote and encourage learning and development in daily living, social and life skills.

The Clinical Crisis Response Supervisor will also be assisting with overseeing ‘disengaged’ files and will oversee the Afterhours and Crisis Response Program. Updates pertaining to disengaged participants including contract, visits or details pertaining to changes in the participants support plan will be provided regularly to the assigned Reporting Clinical Case Manager or Supervisor.

Reporting to Senior Management, the Clinical Crisis Response Supervisor will provide crisis intervention, training, and oversite of the Crisis Response Team, while offering support to participants who live within the community in various living arrangements.

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Cover letter and updated resume
- 18 years of age or older
- Available 40 hours per week with open availablity on weekdays and weekends
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check, Adult Abuse Registry Check and Child Abuse Registry Check (no older than three months)
- Valid Standard First Aid / CPR Certification
- Orientation to Protection and Guide to the Vulnerable Persons Act training
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training
- ASIST training (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)
- Living Works Start Training
- Mental Health First Aid
- Narcan & Harm Reduction Training
- Completion of a Post-Secondary Education in Human Services (Certificate, Diploma or Degree) is considered an asset
- Minimum one or more years of crisis intervention experience
- Minumum two years superviosry experience
- Valid Drivers License is required
- Must have the ability to lift 50lbs; May be required to restrain if necessary and physical strength will be a component
- Three employment references

**QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS**

The Turning Leaf Clinical Crisis Response Supervisor must possess the capacity to be aware of and control one’s own emotions. Moreover, the Clinical Crisis Response Supervisor must be able to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously, empathetically, and professionally while executing their responsibilities and providing Turning Leaf’s person-centered supports.

In addition, the Clinical Crisis Response Supervisor must possess demonstrated experience with the following:

- De-escalating aggressive behaviour
- Aptitude towards managing crisis
- High conflict resolution skills
- Comfortable working with adults who are living with an intellectual challenge, mental illness, addictions and those who are in conflict with the law.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Extensive experience with NVCI principles and the associated restraint techniques
