Currently we are in need of an Equipment Coordinator to join our team at our Vancouver Office. Reporting to the Director of Construction/VP of Construction, the Equipment Coordinator will work closely with the Townline Construction department to ensure maximum utilization of equipment assets, coordinate storage, track equipment inventory and more.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Effectively manage and document movement of equipment from sites
- Arrange storage of construction equipment for all Townline projects;
- Managing the tracking and timely return of rental equipment
- Coordinate and maintain daily communicate with the Construction Department to efficiently organize all Townline Construction equipment on site
- Create a site tracker and inventory list for all existing equipment and new equipment.
- Obtain, track and monitor the insurance of equipment
- Create folders and files with all equipment invoice and submit for processing when required
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement;
- Build relationships with vendors in an effort to obtain competitive pricing, timely billings and resolutions of any issues; and
- Order new equipment as required for projects
- Coordinate equipment repair if needed
- Process new rental contracts
- Streamline the rental equipment process and
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- 2-3 years of direct work experience in equipment coordination
- Commitment to working in a team environment, with established team building abilities;
- Results-oriented individual with the ability to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and time lines;
- Ability to understand fundamentals of contracts
- Ability to effectively communicate with all types of staff, including laborers, technical, professional, and upper management;
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing;
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with business units, corporate departments, key managers, and other stakeholders;
- Ability to effectively communicate with all types of staff, including laborers, technical, professional, and upper management;
- Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines;
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS office, with specific strengths in Excel and Outlook;
- A proficient understanding of all construction trades and construction techniques;
- Highly organized and able to work on multiple priorities
