**Description**

Our Client is seeking an Intermediate Project Manger to provide project deliverables including requirements gathering, planning, coordination, analysis and project management of IMT initiatives supporting Project implementation. Defining and meeting all scope requirements, budgets and timelines. Ensure all defined business and technical requirements are met.

Work must be done from within Canada, due to network and data security issues. It is anticipated the role will be 100% remote. Must be Canadian resident to apply.

**Experience Required/Mandatory Skills**
- The proposed resource must meet or exceed one of the following: University graduation in business, management or a related discipline and two years of Project Management (PM) experience; OR Two-year diploma in business, management or a related discipline and four years of PM experience; OR One-year certificate in business, management or a related discipline and five years of PM experience; OR Six years of PM experience.
- Ability to work closely with key stakeholders to communicate progress.
- Experience successfully implementing IT solutions in an environment with project resources from across multiple teams or organizations. (8+ years)
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently. (8+ years)
- Experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures. (8+ years)
- Experience in a project management role. (8+ years)
- Experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders. (8+ years)

**Nice To Have Skills**
- Currently active PMP or PGMP Certification as issued by the Project Management Institute or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
- Ability to manage conflict.
- Ability to learn quickly, problem solve/troubleshoot, work independently and in a team.
- Ability to manage stress.
- Experience leading change management and communication planning. (7+ years)
- Experience working with information management and cybersecurity policies, directives, and guidelines within limited timelines. (2+ years)
- Experience working in an enterprise architect environment. (7+ years)
- Experience developing and maintaining positive relationships across the organization, including executive level. (7+ years)
- Experience creating and managing project forecast and actual budgets. (7+ years)
- Experience creating and managing project forecasts in Microsoft Project. (7+ years)
- Experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels. (7+ years)
- Available to lead frequent (daily) face-to-face meetings with clients and technical teams.
- Experience using MS Project tools in a project server environment. (7+ years)
- Experience working with staff, contractors and vendor teams. (7+ years)
- Experience making decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex issues without formal guidelines or precedents and exercises resourcefulness and ingenuity. (4+ years)

**Location**
- Edmonton/Remote

**Work Environment**
- 5 months with 1 possible 6-month extension
