**Roles and responsibilities**:
Support the accounting department in their tasks:

- Record financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Verification of the accounts receivable and accounts payable subledger and control accounts.
- Analyze the general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations.
- Transaction verification of values in the inventory module.
- Assist in filing and organizing accounting documents.
- Research, solve, and follow-up accounting issues.
- Issue draft financial statements and various other reports as and when required.

**Requirements**:

- College diploma (DEC) or professional study diploma (DEP) in accounting.
- 2+ years experience in accounting.
- Knowledge of the accounting cycle is a must.
- Comfortable with computer systems, especially MS Office and accounting software.
- Working experience with MS excel is essential.
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks.
- Must be motivated, resourceful, rigorous and very organized.
- Must be a team player.

**Language Requirements**:
Precikam's working language is French however an extensive knowledge of English is necessary for this position, as the majority of accounting departments suppliers and customers are located outside Quebec.
