The Analyst may also act as a technical specialist to a project required to produce deliverables associated to all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle while adhering to governance, standards, and best practices of the DVA Platform. The Analyst may also provide technical, design, and architectural support to other team members, they may lead smaller projects or assist in the coordination of related activities across various functional areas.

**Programming Responsibilities**
Supports the development and customization required for DVA platform including monitoring and improving productivity.
Develops and maintains code required to support the DVA platform.

Develops test data and analyze results.

**Analysis & Design Responsibilities**
Analyzes current systems through review of documentation and consults with various internal and external stakeholders.
Prepares or provides input into one or more of the following;
Feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, or business case
Requirement definitions
Conceptual design documents Plans
Troubleshoots production systems

**Project Leadership Responsibilities**
Leads Joint Application Development sessions
Leads teams in the development of new systems and enhancements to the existing system
As project leader, will provide both technical and general direction to project staff members.
Resolves problems related to service requests or production problems
Utilizes project management tools to monitor and review project personnel/activities
Provides input to the evaluation of team members, as required
Conducts regular meetings with user contacts
Liaises and communicates with all levels of MPI management, and with other project teams to coordinate efforts.
Participates, as required, in enterprise architecture development. Ensures that all activities adhere to MPI’s architectural principles, standards and process (unless an exemption has been granted)
Develops and enforce policies, standards, and procedures for work carried out in this area
Installs selected vendor software and evaluate new packages

**Qualifications**:
Three years’ experience in systems analysis, design, and/or programming, of which two (2) years must be using applicable software (Micro Focus, COBOL, JCL, IMS, VSAM, SQL Server, $U, Windows Server)
Experience should include.NET technologies (such as Visual Basic.NET and C#.NET) within a Microsoft environment.
Experience with Build Process Automation in both Visual Studio and Azure DevOps
Familiarity with Agile Methodology
SQL Server Database Programming (Stored Procedures)
