Environmental Specialist

Millar Western Forest Products Ltd. is seeking an Environmental Process Specialist who will work as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our effluent treatment systems and overall environmental management program.

Reporting to the Environmental Supervisor, you will be actively involved with the operations and environmental teams in the daily operations of our BCTMP Pulp Mill. Responsibilities include:

- Fine-tuning treatment system processes for optimal efficiency and performance.
- Championing safety protocols and organizational standards.
- Analyzing and interpreting data to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with research organizations on innovative projects.
- Overseeing maintenance activities and contractor coordination.
- Identifying and implementing enhancement opportunities for operational excellence.
