**What you bring to the team.**

The Planner will be responsible for the seamless workflow of daily operations, in an organized and timely manner. They will work within National shop and assist the Service Manager, Planners and Supervisors in planning, scheduling, and executing work plans for the Electrical portion of Service Shop work.

**Your main responsibilities.**
- Planning and scheduling RigScans
- Plan upcoming jobs, ensuring parts availability.
- Local parts sourcing when required.
- Build a relationship with local suppliers.
- Participate in weekly production meetings.
- Assist and work with manager, planners, coordinators and supervisors in completing quotes for Service products and services for internal and external customers.
- Assist and work with manager and supervisors in reducing WIP.
- Work closely with account managers and product sales coordinator.
- Assist in creating project schedules and updating Gant charts according to progress.
- Responsible for job cost analysis, profitability reporting
- Responsible for recording cost work up
- Monitor cost and compliance of job planning.
- To maximize consolidated gross profit (CGP)
- Comply with the organization’s people management, environmental, health & safety, recycling, sustainability efforts and quality assurance policies and standards.
- Perform special studies and carry out special assignments, as required by his/her supervisor.
- Weekly provide update (ppt’s) to Account/Product Managers regarding relevant machine deliveries.
- Responsible to ensure product knowledge is kept up-to-date.
- Create and manage SRF’s (Service Request Form)
- Provide technical Support as required.
- Assist with reporting to Tech Service and Factory as required.
- Establish a professional working relationship with account/product managers and fellow employees.
- Help with internal documentation of training.
- Assist manager and supervisors with daily duties.
- Assess warrantable work and submit reports as required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience working in the electrical industry.
- Electrical/Instrumentation/Automation Engineering technologist or Red Seal Certificate
- A team player able to work well with & provide support/assistance to all departments within Epiroc.
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, M3
- Strong knowledge of Epiroc Automation Products
- A proven Self Starter and able to work with a minimum of supervision.
