**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a **Project Lead, Project & Shutdown Management at Garson Mine **to join our** Project and Services team. **In this role you will lead projects ($10-15M annually) including the management of all activities from FEL 1 studies through AFE approval, execution and handover to the Project Owner. This includes management of detailed engineering design, procurement, project controls (Safety, Scope, Schedule, Quality, Cost), systems, construction support and management services for individual Projects. **This is a permanent position**.

**Additionally, in this position you will**:

- The incumbent will execute work using project management framework in a streamlined and effective manner.
- The incumbent will work in partnership with respective operations and support areas (reliability, engineering, environmental, legal, procurement etc.) to ensure efficient and safe execution of scope, schedule, budget and quality.
- The incumbent will assist in the requisitioning of parts & services associated with the Project, as well as to create work orders, operations and manage the Schedule associated with Project and Shutdown work in SAP. This includes collaborating with the integrated planning team to ensure work is integrated into the 7/21 schedule and major events calendar.
- The incumbent will work with Site operational planning teams to create the Master Schedule for the Plant shutdowns.
- This position will report directly to the Superintendent of Project and Shutdown Management at the plant location.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management related role is required.
- Front line supervisory capability and experience is preferred but not required.
