Concrete Laborer

Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable about flooring tolerances to make corrective measures to make the subfloor acceptable for flooring products
- Assist with the preparation and setup of concrete forms and molds
- Pour, spread, and level concrete using various tools and techniques to both concrete and wood substrates
- Be able to assess subfloors and use laser/levels as well as concrete grinders
- Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete
- Operate hand tools and power tools as necessary
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and instructions to ensure accurate construction
- Perform general labor tasks such as cleaning and organizing work areas
**Experience**:
- Must have valid driver's license
- Previous experience in masonry, concrete finishing, or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of concrete pouring techniques and materials
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in construction
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
**Skills**:
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor for extended periods of time
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, floats, and edgers
- Experience flooring installation is a plus
**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
