**Summary of Duties**
As part of a team, Aquatic Attendants provide safe, enjoyable aquatic experiences for Londoners.

**Work Performed**
Under the supervision of the Pool Manager, Assistant Pool Manager or Deck Supervisor, Aquatic Attendants are responsible for:

- Controlling the use of pool equipment and amusement devices during recreational swims and facility rentals.
- Supervising the public while using the wading pools during operating hours(seasonal).
- Provide assistance in aquatic learn to swim program planning and delivery.
- Promoting public water safety education drowning prevention initiatives.
- Participating in all training sessions and be able to demonstrate and maintain skills relevant to the position.

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Current Standard First Aid with CPR C
- Current Bronze Cross
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check

**Compensation and Other Information**
Wages: $16.00 per hour

Work location: Staff may be placed at any aquatic facility in the city and are required to provide their own transportation.

Employment period: Staff must be available to work varying hours. Hours may start as early as 5:15 am and end as late as 10:30 pm depending upon pool assignment. Accommodating vacations, summer school and/or other jobs may not be possible.
