We are seeking 3** students** to join our UTS Collaboration and Productivity team for the Spring/Summer term (May to August).

As part of an Operational Team, you will have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Microsoft suite of low-code tools, including Power Automate.

This role will also include:

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements
- Developing automation workflows using Power Automate
- Providing support to end-users using Power Platform tools
- Creating documentation, FAQs, and guidance materials
- Collaborating with IT support teams to address user queries
- End-to-end testing of Student Digital Experience Technology

**Job Summary**:
Provides administrative support to a project under directed guidance from the Senior IT Manager.

**Accountabilities**:

- Update records by entering data into spreadsheets or databases.
- Conduct database, literature, library and web searches to locate documents and articles used for references on the project.
- Copy, collate, and assemble a variety of documents and packages.
- Collect, maintain and organize hardcopy and/or electronic records/files.
- Assist with other related duties to contribute to the overall operation of the conference or event.
- Answer routine inquires
- Perform other clerical duties of a similar nature, specific to a project, conference, or event.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**:Currently enrolled in a relevant McMaster undergraduate or graduate program.

**Experience**:Experience working with McMaster University technology tools.

**Assets**:

- Basic understanding of low-code development concepts.
- Eagerness to learn and explore new technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of development life cycle testing.
- Experience in a customer-facing role providing guidance or advice on a variety of technology tools
- 2+ year experience using a variety of Microsoft 365 apps
- Self-starter who enjoys learning and continuous improvement
- Curious nature with a desire to seek new ways of engaging and supporting others in using technology
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
