General Labourer Overhead Door/parking Gate/garage

We are seeking a motivated, eager individual to learn the **overhead door/parking gate/garage door service & repair/install trade** with lots of opportunity to move up quickly.
There is always something new to learn with different views as we travel through the Lower Mainland & Fraser Valley daily.

You will be learning the trade, shadowing, assisting/helping and driving around with a lead technician for the first 6-12 months. You will **start **and **end **your **day** at the shop which is located in the **Langley city area (Fraser Hwy & 216th area)**. This role requires a drivers license but does not require transportation. There is a bus stop nearby.

Construction experience is definitely an asset as the use of several hand and power tools are required, **often on ladders.**

**NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. WE WILL TEACH YOU**

Wage is based on experience, MINIMUM $25.00 PER HOUR

QUALIFICATIONS
This role requires a high level of focus on safety and solutions, adaptability, and positive “can-do” attitude, as well as:

- Must have basic hand and power tool knowledge
- Must be able to lift minimum 85lbs
- Willingness to learn and take direction
**-Must be comfortable with heights and going up ladders**:

- Team player with effective communication skills
- Must have a valid BC drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
- Will **NOT** tolerate constant use of personal cell phone
- **Must have strong use of the English language both verbal and written**
