Temporary Maternity Leave Coverage - Over Night Quality Assurance Supervisor

Specific Responsibilities:

- Oversee, audit, inspect, evaluate, document, and monitor the quality of front-line Employee’s work to ensure their performance follows and reflects Family Connections Inc. policies, procedures, protocols, agency best practice standards, CARE best practice standards, ensuring Family Connections Inc. complies with sector policies and procedures (Child Family Services, Disability Services, Indigenous Governing bodies).
- Oversee, audit, inspect, evaluate, document, and monitor OH&S, CAC and sector licencing safety standards.
- Identify areas which need improvement, provide corrective feedback, and provide follow up monitoring to ensure concerns have been rectified.
- Provide in-person on-site crisis response coaching and mentoring.
- Provide telephone crisis response; encourage front line Employees to explore, identify and utilize high risk behaviour mitigation strategies.
- Provide telephone crisis response directives.
- Provide ongoing 1-1 training, mentorship and coaching to front-line employees including but not limited to: CARE principles are imbedded within the framework of practice, crisis intervention, de-escalation, co-regulation, post crisis debriefing, documentation and best practice standards.
- Keep up to date with research and changes in relevant legislation, guidance, and regulations to inform best practice standards.
- Submit a detailed shift summary report to Director of Programs, Directors, appropriate Program Manager, and appropriate House Supervisor.
- Submit monthly Outcomes Report to Directors.
- Be available for on-call rotation, while on shift and off shift as needed.
- Attend all House Supervisor meetings and attend Staff meetings as needed.

Education and Experience:
1. Educational Level - degree or diploma in a human service field.

2. Education and experience relating directly to quality assurance.

3. Five years minimum of front-line/supervisory experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
