- Dock Associate Seasonal**

This position reports to the Store Manager & Assistant Manager for the successful delivery of the role. This is a seasonal position that will run from October 2024-December 31, 2024

The Dock Associate will be in an essential position performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming inventory, managing transfers from start to finish and filling shelf holes on both the retail floor and coolers.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Picking, checking, packaging, and staging transfers in scheduled sequence provided by management.
- Receiving and checking incoming product deliveries from both internally and externally.
- Accurately putting away inventory on retail floor, cooler and basement warehouse.
- Observing and reporting defective, missing, or lost product to management.
- Regularly filling holes and bringing up product for the retail floor.
- Assist with regular inventory counts.
- Maintaining a clean safe workspace by cleaning general debris as you work and reporting observed safety hazards to management or supervisor.
- Thinking on your feet and able to problem solve any issues as they arise.
- The ability to know when to seek guidance and take direction.
- Team player and willing to assist in all areas of the store as needed.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Other duties as required.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- POS experience considered an asset.
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
- Effective organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills.
- Must have ability to work independently and as a team.
- Capable of standing for long periods of time and be constantly moving
- Able to lift-up to 50lbs.
- Must have flexibility with schedule and be available to work evenings & weekends.
