**Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX**:
As a Retail Allocations Lead, you support the day-to-day leadership of the retail analyst team and collaborate closely with department partners. In doing so, you are responsible for overseeing the execution of in-season allocation and replenishment strategies, including sales and inventory analysis for our DTC channels. You oversee inventory levels to ensure that stores have the optimal amount of relevant products available to customers at the appropriate time.

- The Merchandise Planning & Allocations team is a cross functional group whose focus is to continuously drive sales and margin, while mitigating inventory risks by finding the balance between the right product at the right quantity in the right place at the right time.

**If you were the Retail Allocations Lead now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing**:

- Leading a team of retail allocation analysts to ensure timely and accurate allocation of product to brand stores
- Overseeing the management of replenishment for our NAM Brand Stores - from initial allocation to exit
- Collaborating with the Allocations Leadership team to lead others and ensure a strong culture of growth and development
- Working with the new store opening teams to facilitate smooth stock reservation, reporting and delivery for an increasing number of brand stores
- Supporting the analysis of store level inventory and sales plans to maximize sales opportunities on a weekly basis
- Identifying and highlighting any concerns in inventory levels; coaching analyst team from investigation to resolution
- Working closely with Operations Solutions to ensure they are aware of product flow, replenishment flow, and any deviation or changes to the plan
- Helping to identify regional shortages and overages for the Open To Buy process
- Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to provide insight into retail functions and processes
- Liaising with the warehouse, stores, and merchandising teams to help coordinate smooth integration of replenishment and seasonal product drops
- Identifying issues and gaps in process and supporting the team in resolving
- Working closely with Allocations Manager and Assistant to document new processes in our operations playbook
- Assisting with preparation of management reports and historical re-caps to analyze and communicate business performance
- Supporting the team with additional tasks as required to help achieve company objectives
- Partnering closely with Product Operations Solutions on core retail operations functions
- Traveling as required for store visits
- Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing, throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain

- Participating in the vendor selection process for a new MFP&A tool that will support the initial allocation and replenishment process
- Overseeing the testing and implementation of evolved replenishment and initial allocation strategies with the analyst team
- Overseeing, and constantly improving the strategic flow of inventory to an increasing regional portfolio
- Balancing the seasonal assortment vision of the merchant team, the needs of a region and the inventory available to execute
- Acting as the initial point of contact for cross functional partners who want to work with the Allocations Analyst team or require information from our business area
- Collaborating with leadership and instructional designers to develop and maintain SOPs and our operational playbook
- Partnering with individual contributors to ensure weekly business performance is translated to commercial partners
- Overseeing collaboration between Senior Analysts and Allocations Analysts on New Store Opening Process

**Are you our next Retail Allocations Lead?**:

- You have 5+ years in a DTC Planning and Allocations environment
- You have 2+ years leading others
- You have a bachelors degree in a relevant field or a combination of equivalent experience
- You have an interest in working in a formal MP&A leadership role
- You drive breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement of all merchandising analysis processes
- You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing retail environment
- You can identify and communicate key business insights to management and team
- You have strong data analysis skills and a good understanding of Microsoft Excel
- You have a love of retail and an ability to stay consumer focused
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
