**Warehouse Lead**

**Job Description & Key responsibilities**:

- Ensures that product is picked, checked, packed and shipped according to established standards and procedures.
- Ensures the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized and efficient work area.
- A good understanding of work procedures, work schedules and workflow, assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Accurate and timely reporting and record keeping; ability to interpret data
- Conducts regular meetings with colleagues to discuss results of data analysis and corrective actions to be implemented.
- Ability to assist in fostering and driving a team-based environment.
- Ensures that staff have the appropriate equipment and tools necessary to perform their roles.
- Responsible for employee training, allocating and directing work.
- Investigates and resolves operational issues as they develop.
- Manage and Track inventory levels
- This is a floor position and will involve physically moving/processing products. Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Complies with local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; daily cycle counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**Skills & Qualification**

Competencies:

- At least 5 years relevant experience. Experience in Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Consumer Packaged goods and Food preferred.
- Forklift use and certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
- Proficient computer skills.
- Good communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Developed interpersonal skills, good team player.
- Be knowledgeable about Health & Safety Legislation
- Knowledgeable and skilled at using a warehouse management system (WMS).
- Thorough knowledge of third-party logistics services and processes.

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
