**Summary of Position**:
The Sales Manager will be working within the sales management team in planning, organizing and motivating the activities of the Sales Department and in measuring the performance of their Sales Team. Working with the Director of Sales, the Sales Manager works closely with their team of Sales Consultants to elevate their sales performance.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Encourage, motivate, coach, and work with Team of Sales Consultants to increase sales closing percentage
- Build a committed sales team capable of exceeding sales goals
- Instill, enforce implementation of the complete sales process with a team of Sales Consultants
- Ensure Sales Consultant is present in the car with each client for the test drive experience
- Watch sales floor traffic and ensure each client is promptly addressed in a friendly and professional manner
- Ensure each client will be met by Sales Manager
- Seek Director of Sales approval prior to turning down a deal due to pricing
- Champion overall satisfaction for our CSI program by Sales Team
- Convey and instill the importance of customer follow-ups and ensure they are done in a timely manner by Sales Team
- Work with each Sales Consultant to target and maximize sales opportunities for the lease/finance portfolio
- Ensure there is a Sales Consultant is actively present and working service floor during peak service hours as determined by Director of Sales
- Review service appointments one day prior to strategize how to turn that service customer into a New Car sales deal
- Achieve car sales to assist the New Car Sales Department to achieve its targets with existing customer portfolio and referrals
- Reassign internet and walk-in in leads to Sales Consultants unless short staffed then will assist that client
- Ensure the showroom is pristine and has appropriate vehicle variety and age based on the inventory list
- Additional duties & projects as assigned by management
**Position Requirements**:
- Be highly self-motivated
- Be a strong leader who can provide coaching and training skills necessary to build, motivate, and retain a winning team of Sales Consultants
- Be a goodwill ambassador for the company by courteous treatment of all customers on the phone, in person, or outside the dealership.
- Have a passion for sales and respect for customers
- Strong negotiator capable of effectively closing sales deals
- Customer service oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and possesses strong organizational & time management skills
- Fluent in the English language, Mandarin/Punjabi fluency is an asset
**Software Skills**:
- 180 CRM System
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
**Compensation**: $150,000-$250,000 per year
**Work Environment**:
Work Hours may change depending on operational needs.
- 9:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday to Thursday
- 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Friday & Saturday
- 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday & Statutory Holidays
