**Summary of Responsibilities**:
- Monitor and maintain computer systems (Windows, macOS, Ubuntu) and networks.
- Provide Level 1-3 helpdesk support via Jira.
- Own the IT onboarding and offboarding process for employees.
- Perform routine computer maintenance (patching, configuration updates, upgrades, performance monitoring).
- Audit asset inventory and access systems to ensure compliance with IT and cybersecurity policies.
- Provision and track user assets and servers (device provisioning is conducted at our STC office).
- Develop and maintain IT process documentation; continuously improve processes.
- Automate repetitive tasks using scripting (Bash, Python, ShellScript, or JavaScript).
- Support corporate security efforts by administering MDM, antivirus, and vulnerability management tools.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with security standards, including Law 25, SOC2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
- Perform basic system administration tasks on servers in AWS and GCP.
- Administer Google Workspace.
- Roll out new tools and software, and conduct migrations between IT systems.
- Other duties as assigned
**Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications**:
- College diploma or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or 2+ years of experience in a similar role (new grads welcome).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- A solid understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Experience in resolving technical issues.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
- Experience in at least one programming language: Python, JavaScript, Bash, or ShellScript.
- Knowledge of corporate compliance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF) is a plus.
- Previous experience in technical support or hands-on experience with computers or cloud environments is highly desirable.
