If exploring the great outdoors with some awesome four-legged companions sounds like an absolute dream come true, we’d love to hear from you

**Your primary responsibilities in this role will include**:

- Driving a company vehicle and effectively supervising our precious cargo during transport
- Managing and hiking a pack of up to 8 dogs, twice daily
- Learning about dog behavior and implementing foundational training techniques on group hikes
- Communicating with clients, and providing them with daily feedback after your adventures
- Utilizing our app for client communication, and daily scheduling
- Taking photos throughout each hike (bonus points if you’re an awesome photographer)
- General maintenance and cleaning duties, as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Full-time availability, between the hours of 8:15-4:15pm, from Monday-Friday
- Personal or professional experience working with animals. Some basic knowledge of dog behavior is a must as you will be working with dogs of various sizes, ages, breeds, and temperaments.
- You are punctual, responsible, reliable, and detail oriented
- You thrive in fast paced environments
- You’re comfortable working outdoors, rain or shine
- You are ready and able to work as part of a close team, as well as independently.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and digital), as you will be communicating with clients, team members, and management daily
- You are confident behind the wheel, and possess a valid BC drivers license, with a clean driving abstract. As a pack leader, you will be navigating around the city, and driving for up to 5 hours each day.
- A reliable smart phone with a data plan for GPS navigation, and communication
- A clean criminal background check
- Complete our Pet First Aid Training course - Your course fee will be reimbursed after 3 months of employment.

**Compensation**:

- Training wage: $18-$20/hour (based on experience & skillset)
- Wage: $21-$26/hour (based on experience & skillset)
- Access to our generous benefits package, after a 3 month probationary period.
