**Driver/Labourer (Team Leader In Training)**

Reporting to the Assistant Manager Driver/Labourer employees have a wide array of duties and responsibilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate 5-ton trucks with AIRBRAKES endorsement to transport household and commercial items to their destination.
- Lead a team of movers, fostering a culture of safety, communication, and respect among team members.
- Coordinate and execute efficient loading, unloading, and transportation of customer belongings.
- Handle shipments with care, ensuring proper packing and secure arrangement.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns during the moving process.
- Uphold Arrowsmith's core values of safety, communication, customer satisfaction, integrity, reliability, and respect in all interactions.
- Perform heavy lifting and protect customer belongings from damage during handling.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure its proper functioning.
- Adhere to all transportation and safety regulations and guidelines.

**Requirements**:

- Valid 5 class drivers license
- AIRBRAKES endorsement is an asset but not required.
- A clean driver abstract with a proven track record of safe driving.
- Strong team leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide the moving crew.
- Prior experience as a mover is an asset but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.

**Salary**: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
