Position Purpose:
The overall duty of this position is to manage and track incoming and outgoing inventory of tools and equipment.

This position is on a temporary full-time basis specific to the Applus Turnaround Group within the Wood Buffalo Region.

Due to the nature of this position there will be on-call and overtime requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Maintain inventory of tools and equipment including requesting inventory as required.
- Inspect tools and equipment to ensure they are in working order.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Identify materials required from work orders.
- Oversee the crib area and ensure security at all times.
- Ensure the proper handling, sorting and preparation of tools for use.
- Locate lost or misplaced tools and equipment.
- Coordinate replacement of damaged or broken tools, along with maintaining the appropriate inventory levels for consumables and supplies.
- Oversee the distribution and collection of coveralls.
- Adhering to organizational policies and procedures, including but not limited to Applus Code of Ethics and Confidentiality Agreements.
- Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary.

Education and Work Experience:

- High School Diploma or Canadian General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
- Previous experience in NDT is a strong asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.

Working Conditions:

- Required to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid and dry/arid conditions in temperature extremes and inclement weather.
- Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials in various working environments.
- Commonly exposed to walking on slippery or uneven surfaces.
- Occasionally required to work in noisy/loud working environments especially on project sites.
- Required to work overtime during the week and weekend depending on project scope and work volume.
- Working conditions will vary between project locations.

- Ability to be flexible with work schedules and respond to requests without advance warning or notification
