We are a Whitehorse Yukon based prefab construction company. We build residential projects ranging from custom and spec homes to multi-family town house developments. We have contracts around Yukon in many different communities.

**Job Description**:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter to join our growing team. As a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing construction projects according to specifications, deadlines, and budget. You will also be responsible for supervising and training other carpenters, as well as ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, execute, and complete construction projects according to specifications, deadlines, and budget.
- Supervise and train other carpenters, including apprentices and journeymen.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Order and coordinate the delivery of building materials and equipment required for each project.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools to perform carpentry tasks, including measuring, cutting, and installing building materials such as wood, metal, and drywall.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other contractors to ensure projects are completed to the required standards.
- Maintain accurate records of materials, tools, and work completed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter certification.
- Several years of experience in carpentry, with a proven track record of successful completion of construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to train and supervise other carpenters effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and find solutions to complex construction issues.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods of time.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
