At Merit Kitchens, the Receptionist is responsible for a wide variety of clerical office duties in support of company administration. This includes greeting and screening visitors, answering, and referring inbound telephone calls. The receptionist will also support other departments with administrative tasks and assist in organizing staff events.

**Hours**: 8:00AM to 4:30PM

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- As a front-line worker, present a positive and professional image of the organization to all visitors, suppliers, inquiries, and other interactions.
- Welcome and direct visitors, providing general information in person and by phone.
- Communicate arrival of visitors for meetings, etc.
- Coordination, answering and directing internal phone system.
- Upkeep of desk phone management including onboarding/ separating employees from the desk phone system.
- Servicing meeting rooms and re-stock executive boardrooms with hosting supplies.
- General office coordination duties including upkeep and inventory of office supplies, coffee supplies, restocking paper in printers, and informing the Purchasing department of any items that need to be restocked.
- Point of contact for third party suppliers and/or service providers.
- Administer inbound/outbound mail.
- Coordinate housekeeping duties for the main offices and production offices upkeep
- May support the Finance department with daily tasks such as collating invoices, receipts, purchase document filing and simple data entry.
- Fulfill Marketing orders by collecting and wrapping properly for delivery. (sample blocks, flyers, catalogues)
- Support the organization of staff events, including ordering supplies, taking food orders, and decorating at appropriate times.
- Post company updates on the bulletin boards and TV monitors.
- Decorate the office during appropriate times of the year (e.g., Halloween, Christmas).
- Assist with the set-up and take-down of Culture events including the annual Summer BBQ and Christmas Luncheon.

**The Receptionist may perform other duties as delegated by Management.**

**CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS**
- Completion of high school or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills in english.
- 2+ years of direct work experience in a receptionist capacity.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills.
- Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving.

**SALARY/WAGE EXPECTATION**

Annual salary of $40,000 to $45,000 based on experience
