**Responsibilities**:

- Design and present lesson plans using a variety of teaching techniques that appeal to various learning styles

and methods
- Plan and conduct lessons of instruction that provides critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Use a variety of assessment practices to determine student understanding of curricular outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
- Must have excellent organizational and classroom management skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively with students and parents
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with students with special needs

As a condition of employment, all new hires must complete a satisfactory criminal record check with vulnerable
sector search, and child abuse registry check as part of the hiring process.
Salary & benefits for this position will be administered in accordance with the SRSD/SRTA collective bargaining
