Hiring An Experienced Evening Restaurant Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced evening restaurant supervisor to work Monday - Friday who has wine knowledge (WSET level 1 and 2) or preferably who is a sommelier. The Supervisor would be responsible for supervising and assisting with the cleanup and closing of the restaurant. Shifts would be scheduled from 3-11 pm or 4-12 am Monday - Friday with overtime as needed. The restaurant is closed during the weekend. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Run The Grill operations (restaurant) in the evenings.
Inspect the set-ups of designated service sections and all service areas in The Grill, checking them against the reservations and staffing levels.
Maintain the Grill area at all times, such as floors, carpets, windows, tables, chairs, benches, entrance, patio, cellar, music and lighting,
Act as liaison for the Grill between Management /Housekeeping /Kitchen/Stewards /Concierge.
Respond to Member and guests needs in a timely manner and document any problems/issues to be shared with the Director of Restaurant and Bars.
Assist in service of guests as required.
Assist with inventory of all alcohol monthly as required.
Inspect the sanitation of all restaurant space and storage areas to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and organization throughout the department.
Be familiar with all a la carte menus, presentations, ingredients, and prices.
Hold pre-shift meetings, and check staffing and menus, specials, and reservations prior to each service period.
Assign side-work duties and stations to all servers.
Monitor ongoing service throughout assigned shift.
Supervise the breakdown and clean up of The Grill.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2 years leadership experience
5 years experience in Food and Beverage Service
Computer Knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Leadership skills to motivate and develop team to ensure accomplishment of goals
Demonstrate superior customer service philosophy
Must have Serving it Right certification
Must have FOODSAFE Level 1 certification
Bonus WSET certifications or sommelier experience
