Precision Castparts Corporation is a leading global supplier to the aerospace industry. We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and passionate individual to join our PCC Pickering Team as a Production Supervisor/Manager.

**Position Summary**:
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the plant is meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations by producing the highest quality products in a safe and efficient manner.

**Position Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Provide effective leadership and consistently improve manufacturing standards, utilization of equipment, facilities, and personnel to obtain maximum efficiency and meet or exceed performance objectives.
- Agent of positive cultural change that will engage the workforce and drive a successful implementation of Lean and 6S principles.
- Meet or exceed customers’ expectations
- Team building and effective communications
- Ensure that all production, shipping, cost, quality, and safety goals are met.
- Production schedules, budget control, work force requirements, and production load vs. capacity tracking to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Troubleshoot production problems and champion preventive or corrective action. Implement changes to improve quality, simplify work and reduce costs.
- Develop and track relevant Measures of Performance (Matrixes)
- Review and approve of teams’ payroll

**Skills and Experience**:

- Background in Assembly, Paint, Processing, welding, and /or shipping and receiving considered an asset
- Experience in aerospace industry or similar manufacturing environments are preferred.
- Computer skills and ability to interpret data to form decisions
- A proven record of implementing and sustaining ERP, Lean Manufacturing principles, cellular work teams, Kanban, 6S, Kaizen and other continuous improvement programs.
- A successful history of improving productivity, cost reduction while maintaining high level of customer satisfaction.
- A degree in engineering and/or advanced degree in Operation management or related background are a bonus
